Let’s take a road trip

The thing about being a courier is that there’s always something alluring about the open road. Whether by car or motorbike, the journey itself is almost always the best bit of life. To celebrate we’re just pencilling in a few of our favourite road movies for catching up on. 

And Your Mother Too: Set in Mexico, this is about two teenage boys and an good looking older woman who embark on a road trip and learn a thing or two about life, friendship, sex, and each other.

Easy Rider: That old classic about counterculture bikers travelling from Los Angeles to New Orleans in search of America.

Sideways: The older you get, the less time there is to tick off your bucket list. This is a great movie following the journey of two men reaching middle age who are a little disappointed with where life has bought them to. So, they embark on a week long road trip through California’s wine country.

The Motorcycle Diaries: Ah yes. This is a beauty. The dramatization of a motorcycle road trip that Che Guevara went on in his youth – one that led him to his calling.

Vanishing Point: And action. Kowalski works for a car delivery service. He takes delivery of a 1970 Dodge Challenger to take from Colorado to San Francisco..

Two Lane Blacktop: Ready, steady, go. This is the story of two men drag racing across the USA in a primer grey 55 chevy. Full of action and wind through the hair. Wilson is the mechanic, James Taylor is the driver.
